The Tri-City Elder Coalition (TCEC) is an affiliation of over sixty organizations, including senior service providers, cultural and faith groups, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and businesses -- all with one goal -- to provide programs, services, and opportunities for seniors living in Fremont, Newark, and Union City, CA.
The MISSION of the Tri-City Elder Coalition is to develop and support community-based partnerships through education, advocacy and resource sharing to improve the well-being of seniors residing in the Tri-City area.
Pathways to Positive Aging
Pathways to Positive Aging, a partnership between the City of Fremont Human Services Department and the Tri City Elder Coalition, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults in Fremont, Newark, and Union City, California. This grant-funded project is an integral part of Community Partnerships for Older Adults, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Over the past several years, Pathways to Positive Aging has developed initiatives around political advocacy, health and wellness, transportation, community engagement, intergenerational programs, and senior opportunities.
